Fill out the Inquiry Form for our office to contact you and schedule a time to visit our campus. This will allow us to provide important information about our school and answer any questions your family may have.
Gradelink Application
Please complete an application on Gradelink. For us to consider your application, a $50 non-refundable application fee must also be submitted. The following items must also be ready to turn in to the front office:
- Complete Gradelink application
- Payment of $50 non-refundable application fee
- Picture of applicant
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Copy of Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
- Authorization for Release of Student Records
- Copy of Report Card / transcript
- Copy of Immunization Records
Schedule a Shadow Day
Shadow Day gives prospective students the opportunity to experience a typical school day at The Good Shepherd Academy. Students entering grades K–5 will attend Mass at St. Madeleine, participate in classes with TGSA students, eat lunch with new friends, and get the chance to meet our wonderful teachers.
Schedule a Family Interview
After you have submitted your application, you will receive a call inviting you to select a date and time for your family interview. The family interview lasts approximately one hour and includes the student applicant, parent(s)/guardian(s), and principal.
Parents may turn in any paperwork from Step 2 at this meeting. Students will also be asked to take a placement test in reading and math.
Acceptance Letter & Submit Gradelink Application
Report Cards and the Application must be submitted and uploaded to Gradelink in order for the student to be considered for acceptance. Upon acceptance, families will be asked to finish the Gradelink application and sign off on:
- Financial Family Agreement
- Parent-Faith Commitment
- Uniform Policy
- Handbook
- Transportation
Financial Aid Application
The Good Shepherd Academy is an independent Catholic school recognized by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. We do not receive financial resources from the Diocese and operate through the generosity of benefactors and fundraising efforts. Through these resources, we are able to offer financial assistance to families to the extent our school is able to provide it.
Families seeking financial assistance must complete the BeneFAQ.com application. The cost is a one-time $30 fee.
